Valley Youth Hub is honoured to have received the Community Impact Award from Sheffield Play Partnership. This recognition is a significant achievement for everyone connected with the hub and reflects the commitment, dedication and care that have shaped our work with children, young people and families across the estate.

We are immensely proud to accept this award. It represents more than a single moment of celebration; it acknowledges the lasting value of creating safe, welcoming and inspiring opportunities for children to play, grow and build positive relationships within their community. Every member of our team, every volunteer and every supporter has contributed to this achievement.

Grateful for Sheffield Play Partnership’s Support

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Sheffield Play Partnership for this honour and for the support they have provided throughout our journey. Their knowledge, encouragement, advice and guidance have helped Valley Youth Hub develop into the organisation it is today.

The partnership has given us the confidence to strengthen our approach, respond to the needs of local children and ensure that play remains central to our work. Their belief in the importance of community-led support has encouraged us to continue learning, improving and creating opportunities that can make a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

We recognise that strong communities are built through collaboration. The encouragement we have received has reinforced the importance of working together with families, local organisations, volunteers and community members to provide children with the support and experiences they deserve.
